Since 2009, F9 Equine Clinic has been dedicated to providing you and your horses with the level of high quality equine veterinary care you would expect from a hospital in the convenience of your own barn, farm, or ranch.
The nature of our practice allows us to provide the flexibility and personal touches not found with many larger hospitals. It is our goal at F9 Equine to provide our clients with outstanding accessibility, convenience, and customer service, while providing their horses with exceptional health care.
Based out of Columbus, TX (about 45 miles west of Katy, TX), F9 Equine provides routine mobile service to the surrounding area, including the south and west sides of Houston, TX. We frequent locations in Colorado, Austin, Ft. Bend, Harris, Fayette and Washington counties.
F9 Equine Clinic also has an outpatient haul-in facility for those clients outside of our travel area, or for clients that prefer to trailer their horse to us.

This review is long overdue. Dr. Brian Fitzgerald has been my primary care vet for a number of years. He diagnosed and successfully treated one of my horses who was unsound for years. He is a great communicator and never rushes his clients during an intake interview. He respects that the owner and or trainer of the horse holds valuable information that can assist him in making an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. You can be assured he will hear all of your concerns. His staff is of the highest caliber as well. If you're looking for a compassionate and well-informed vet, look no further than F9. He explains everything in detail and makes you feel like he has all the time in the world for you, never rushed. His staff and vet techs are also wonderful and highly skilled. They made my life so much easier by asking me all the right questions and then moving carefully from one horse to the next. No drama, just some feel good horses, that will eat better tomorrow. Paul Sherland2807 days agoI've called on Dr. Brian Fitzgerald to treat a variety of issues with my horses ranging from lameness to Pigeon Fever to uveitis. In every situation I've been impressed with Dr. Fitzgerald's knowledge, his abilities working around the horses, and his quality of his treatment and advice. With his well-equipped mobile vet service, he brings the same technology to my barn that I'd otherwise have to haul my horses to get at the nearest clinic. He's used mobile ultrasound and mobile radiographs to diagnose and treat my horses. He's a top-notch vet and we're very lucky to have him working in our area of Texas. Update. About 5:30 pm on New Year's Day, I went to the barn to feed my horses and found my Arabian mare rolling on the ground due to apparent colic. Dr. Sparks was the duty vet and she responded quickly to my phone message. After I described the situation, she asked me to give the mare a dose of Banamine and she headed for my barn. By the time Dr. Sparks arrived, the mare was up and doing much better. Dr. Sparks examined the mare, treated her colic and left me instructions for her care. This was my first experience with Dr. Sparks and I was very impressed with the care she provided my mare on a night, holiday barn call. My horses have also received great care from Dr. Glenn. Curly_Q Zoo3614 days agoDr. Fitzgerald and his team came to my ranch to fix my sweet donkey Silver's hurt foot. Silver had an abscess that had to be drained. They took exrays while they were here.
