Brian Fitzgerald, DVM
Dr. Fitzgerald graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Animal Science in 2000. In 2002, Dr. Fitzgerald completed farrier training in Sacramento, CA at the Pacific Coast Horseshoeing School. He shod horses while attending veterinary school at Texas A&M, where he graduated with honors in 2005. After graduation, he completed a one year internship at Steinbeck Country Equine Clinic in Salinas, CA before moving to the 6666 Ranch in Guthrie, TX where he worked as a resident veterinarian at one of the world's largest equine breeding operations. He moved back to southeast Texas and started F9 Equine Clinic in Spring of 2009.

Dr. Fitzgerald's professional interests include equine lameness, reproduction, podiatry, and general equine medicine. Dr. Fitzgerald is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, the Texas Equine Veterinary Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Fitzgerald has previously served on the Equine Practice committee for the Texas Veterinary Medical Association and the Owner Education committee for the American Association of Equine Practitioners. He and his wife, Rashelle, have 9 children.

Dr. Fitzgerald’s ancestors have deep roots in Texas History.  In 1824, his grandfather’s great-grandfather, Abraham Alley, came to Texas from Missouri with Stephen F. Austin as part of the “Old 300” and settled in Colorado County near the present day town of Columbus, TX.  Some of the original Alley homestead remains in his family and it is the time spent on this land that helped to shape Dr. Fitzgerald’s career goals.  In 2009, he established F9 Equine Clinic, resurrecting a family brand (F9) that was first registered in Colorado County in 1860.

Tiffany has had horses since she was 11 years old and has been hooked ever since. She graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Merchandising. After working in Corporate America for two years she decided it was time to do something she loved and in 2015 made her way to F9 Equine.  She currently breeds barrel racing prospects and is working to get back in the barrel racing community. Tiffany is an animal lover and has a wide variety of pets both large and small.  Tiffany is happily married to husband Travis, a fire chief, and lives in Wallis, Tx with their son and daughter.

Desiree
Desire grew up in neighboring Austin County with a lifelong love of horses. She has been with F9 since 2021 and wrestles donkeys better than anyone in 4 counties. She manages to bring a smile to the task at hand no matter how challenging the situation. When she's not working, you'll either find her on a trail ride, fishing at a bass pond, or at the ball field with her son Brantley.

Brandon
Brandon was raised in Sugar Land.  If you've never met Brandon you will learn very quickly that he has a huge heart and a love for horses of all sizes.  In addition to his role as a veterinary assistant, Brandon is responsible for all clinic grounds maintenance and care of our recip herd.  Prior to joining F9 in 2022, Brandon had stints as a real estate agent, a correctional officer, and also worked for a therapeutic riding program.  While there, he adopted some of the retirees into his own herd, which includes Hershey the Quarter Horse, Chrome the former racing Thoroughbred, Enzo a young Andalusian in training, and a donkey.
